C.A.PICARD® From May 14 to 16, 2025, Japan took part in PLASTIC JAPAN, one of the most important exhibitions within the Highly-Functional Material Week Osaka 2025.
Recognized worldwide as a leading exhibition in the plastics sector, PLASTIC JAPAN presents an extensive range of modern technologies – from base materials and additives through to machinery for forming, finishing and recycling. The exhibition brought together a broad spectrum of plastics-related industries that presented their latest innovations in plastic products, production technologies and recycling solutions.
At this exhibition, we joined the Extruder Technology area and were delighted to welcome far more visitors at our booth than initially expected.
The three-day event attracted approximately 36,000 visitors. Alongside our entire range of components for twin-shaft extruders, we particularly highlighted the following at this year's exhibition:
- Barrel endoscopy: This camera, developed by C.A.PICARD® , enables inspection inside a barrel without disassembly.
- FD shaft removal system: This PLC-controlled system enables safe and efficient removal of screw elements from the support shafts.
This year, we were also able to attend a networking event at the Highly-Functional Film Expo, where we achieved meaningful results.
The next trade fair is scheduled in Tokyo from November 12 to 14, 2025.
After the fair, we began following up on potential business opportunities. We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth, and we look forward to seeing everyone again at future events.
