From June 18 to 21, 2025, C.A. Picard South East Asia (officially registered as Carl Aug. Picard GmbH Bangkok Branch) participated for the first time in InterPlas Thailand, ASEAN's top exhibition for plastics manufacturing machinery, technology, chemicals and raw materials. The 32nd edition welcomed tens of thousands of experts from all over the region.
Our Bangkok branch, newly founded this year, regarded its presence at the exhibition as a significant step in the expansion into Southeast Asia.
As a global specialist for high-precision components for twin-shaft extruders – including die plates, knives and wear parts – we presented key solutions such as elements made of Material 15, the barrel wear measurement device and our FD shaft removal system. These products reflect our commitment to precision, durability and performance.
While C.A.PICARD® is known worldwide, brand awareness in Southeast Asia is "a work in progress". This trade fair was a valuable opportunity to introduce our product portfolio and to highlight our arrival in the region. We had visitors from various industries and started promising conversations with customers.
This was the very first participation in InterPlas Thailand for C.A.PICARD® International. Naturally we had visitors from manufacturing sites, particularly from those running twin-shaft extruders operated by Japanese companies. However, our primary goal this time was not a large number of visitors, but rather to highlight the significance of C.A. Picard South East Asia's presence at the trade fair. We believe that at the same fair next year, even more customers will visit our booth.
We are also planning to exhibit at VICTAM Asia, which will be held in Bangkok from March 10 to 12, 2026.
At C.A. Picard South East Asia, we are confident that we will expand not only in the market for plastics processing machinery, but also in the food and animal feed industries, by continuing to offer our customers top-class service.
We will continue to strengthen our presence in the region through events such as InterPlas Thailand and VICTAM Asia, while supporting our customers and business partners with reliable, high-performance solutions.
