This year, we were once again one of the numerous exhibitors at Fakuma on the exhibition grounds in Friedrichshafen.
Over 1,600 exhibitors from around 790 countries such as China, Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Turkey once again presented new products and topics around efficiency, sustainability and the circular economy. The share of foreign exhibitors this year even rose from 44% to 47.5%. Through technical and organizational measures as well as investments, plastics processors are turning every possible screw to safeguard their competitiveness. Because they are forced to produce even more economically.
This year's Fakuma, from October 15 to 19, attracted 36,675 visitors who visited the exhibitors' booths in the twelve almost completely occupied exhibition halls.
With joy, we were able to welcome around 50 visitors from all over the world to our booth this year, holding intensive expert conversations with them. Among them were also some potential new customers. The majority of visitors came from Germany and other European countries such as Spain, Poland and especially Italy. We were also able to have interesting conversations with companies from countries such as Japan and Venezuela, which we were very pleased about given the not-so-distant Corona pandemic.
Among the trade visitors, topics such as increasing efficiency, process stability and minimizing setup times were the focus.
