From February 9 to 11, 2025, we participated as exhibitors in the 21st International Exhibition for Foundry Technology, Equipment, Accessories and Services in Kolkata, India. At the same time, the 73rd Indian Foundry Congress was held.
The fair and the congress take place annually at changing locations in India, giving exhibitors and trade visitors the opportunity to get to know different regional markets and industrial zones of the country.
Nachdem wir das letzte Mal 2020 auf der IFEX in Chennai teilnahmen, haben wir dieses Jahr diese hervorragende Plattform wieder genutzt, um unsere hochverschleißfesten Formkammerplatten und weiteres Zubehör für vertikale Gießformanlagen dieser dynamischen und wachsenden Branche in Indien zu präsentieren. Unsere Kunden haben uns bestätigt, dass die Auftragslage gut ist und dass sie mit den von C.A.PICARD® gelieferten Kammern sehr zufrieden sind. Noch auf der Messe haben wir von einem potentiellen Kunden die Anfrage über eine komplette Kammer für eine DISA C3 erhalten.
We had good conversations with our visitors about the foundry market in India, which comprises around 2,000 foundries. Many of these foundries use the sand casting process. In addition, mainly horizontal casting machines, DISA-Match and DISA-Flex, are in use. We were therefore able to exchange views with market experts about the number of installed vertical molding machines. In the follow-up, contacts with potential representatives deepened, in order to expand our customer base accordingly.
IFEX takes place annually and will be held for the 22nd time from February 12 to 14, 2026 in Mumbai.
