For 3 1/2 days, CastExpo 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia featured full-size exhibits, cutting-edge technology, demonstrations and exciting new machines. The fair, which took place from April 24 to 27, 2019, had 420 exhibitors and 5,200 visitors. Although CastExpo focuses on the metal casting industries/foundries in North America, there were a large number of visitors from over 32 different countries.

Since the exhibition was attended by both our existing customers and new potential customers, the focus of our booth was on new and innovative products that often cannot be shown to customers in their plants. Most customers who visited our booth this year wanted to see the novel „click“ wear strips that we started producing last year, as well as wear parts for sand mixers/molding sand mixers.
Due to GIFA, which also takes place in Düsseldorf this year, visitor numbers were not as high as in the past (normally over 7,500). This overlap of both fairs in one year occurs every twelve years.
Overall, the fair was a success in terms of new leads and contacts. CastExpo 2022 will take place from April 23 to 26 in Columbus, Ohio. Before that, however, the 124th Metal Casting Conference will be held in Cleveland, Ohio.
