Our application process
Six to seven transparent steps. A fair procedure. Personal contact.
This is how an application works at C.A.PICARD® — regardless of whether you apply for a permanent position or start your apprenticeship with us.
How it works
From the first click
to the first working day.
An application process should not feel like an interrogation. At C.A.PICARD® we talk with one another — as equals, in stages, with time to breathe. Choose your path below and see what awaits you.

Application received
- As soon as your application reaches us, you will receive a brief confirmation by email.
- Please also check your spam folder if the message is not immediately visible.
- If nothing has arrived after 24 hours, simply get in touch with us – we will take care of it right away.

Review of applications
- We take a careful look at your documents to get a good sense of how well you might fit us and the position.
- This usually takes about 1–2 weeks – depending on how many applications we receive.
- If you have questions in the meantime or do not hear from us for a while, we are always happy to give you an update.

First interview (via Microsoft Teams)
- If your profile is a good fit for us, we look forward to getting to know you in a first conversation.
- We take time to get to know each other and gain a first impression of one another – relaxed and as equals.

Second interview (optional)
- Depending on the position, or if questions remain open after the first exchange, a further conversation can be useful.
- This gives both sides the opportunity to explore topics in more depth and gain an even clearer picture of one another.

Trial day & feedback
- So that you get an even better picture, we invite you to a trial day.
- You get to know your potential team and gain a feel for everyday working life.
- Afterwards we exchange views openly on how it felt for both sides.

Contract discussion
- In the contract discussion we take enough time to go through our offer with you in detail.
- We explain all components of remuneration as well as the general conditions of the position fully transparently.
- Of course there is also plenty of room for your questions.

Speed dating (via Microsoft Teams)
- If we think it could be a good fit, we will call you and arrange a date for our speed dating.
- Here we get to know each other personally – relaxed and stress-free.
- And of course you can ask us anything you would like to know.

Aptitude test (online)
- After that you will receive access to an online test. With it we would like to get an impression of the basics you bring to the areas that are important for your apprenticeship.
- Don't worry: the test is deliberately designed so that no one has to solve everything perfectly – it is mainly about being able to better assess your current level.
- You can work through it at your own pace within a week – whenever suits you best.

Trial day & feedback
- On the trial day you have the opportunity to get a taste of working with us and experience everyday life up close.
- You get to know the company, the apprenticeship occupation and, above all, our trainees – and can talk to them quite openly.
- That way you get a good feel for whether we are a good match.
- Afterwards we talk together about how you liked it and answer any remaining questions.
