Heat treatment
As a manufacturer of wear-resistant parts and tools for pressing, forming and punching machines, we have our own hardening shop. It offers a large range of services.
In addition to carburising, heat treatment of plates/sheets/strips made of quenched-and-tempered and tool steels is possible up to a hardening temperature of 1,050°C. We also specialise in press quench hardening under form constraint (Quettenhärtung).
Subsequent straightening on force-controlled straightening presses, as well as hand straightening with a hammer, are part of our offering.
Carburising is carried out using the Carbodrop process in electrically heated retort furnaces up to a usable size of Ø 1400 x 2900 mm. Surface carbon contents of over 2.5 % are set, which produces a wear-resistant layer through carbides. We cannot offer classic case-hardening.
