From 9 to 11 February 2025, we participated in the 21st International Exhibition on Foundry Technology, Equipment, Supplies and Services as exhibitor in Kolkata, India. At the same time, the 73rd Indian Foundry Congress took place.

Exhibition and congress are held annually at alternating locations in India and provide exhibitors and trade visitors with the opportunity to get to know various regional markets and industrial zones of the country.

After we had participated in the IFEX for the last time in Chennai in 2020, we again used this platform this year in order to present our highly wear-resistant moulding chamber plates and further accessories for vertical moulding machines to this dynamic and growing industry in India. Our customers confirmed us that the order situation is good and that they are very satisfied with the chambers delivered by C.A.PICARD^®. During the exhibition, we have even received an enquiry from a potential customer for a complete chamber for a DISA C3.

We had good discussions about the foundry market in India with our visitors, which includes approximately 2,000 foundries. Many of these foundries use the sand-casting process. Mainly, horizontal casting machines, DISA-Match and DISA-Flex, are used. So, we could exchange information with market experts about the number of installed vertical moulding machines. Subsequent to the IFEX, we intensified our contacts with potential representatives in order to extend our customer base in this sector.

The IFEX trade fair takes place annually and will be held for the 22nd time in Mumbai from 12 to 24 February 2026.
