With effect from 1 January 2023, Carl Aug. Picard GmbH acquired the majority shareholding in the company USG Uwe Stücke Granuliertechnik GmbH.

USG GmbH was founded in 2009 and produces and sells die plates and knives/knife holders for a wide range of underwater pelletisers at its site in Bönen.

"The aim of this transaction is to extend our portfolio concerning extruders, to integrate the products of USG GmbH in our worldwide distribution and to offer our customers an extended service. The company will furthermore be run by the Managing Partners Uwe Stücke and Eric Kopetzki.
